Your journey starts with the most advanced eye test available in Bath. As one of only 2% of practices in the UK owning such state of the art equipment (Optomap), our highly experienced optometrists will assess your retina health in high definition 3D, producing a detailed report and exacting prescription for each of your eyes as well as a full review of your eye health.
Depending on whether you require new frames, our team will show you through the range of frames available and help you select a style that suits both your facial features, style and budget. From fully customisable Lindberg frames through to contemporary statement frames from Moscot, Orgreen and our select suppliers, our team have extensive experience to find you the perfect frame.
Upon selecting a frame, your face will be scanned by the revolutionary Visioffice X. Visioffice X provides an exceptional 3D optical measuring system that requires no physical contact to take measurements and create a full assessment of your facial anatomy and eye positioning, as well as your posture and the way you wear your frames. 11 unique measurementsfor each eye are then taken, providing our team with exacting measurements to create your chosen prescription lenses and frames.
Our lifestyles all vary and your optometrist will take the time to fully understand your needs to tailor the performance of your lenses – from enhancing computer/screen use though to single vision, varifocal and sun protection lenses. As well as standard lenses, KA Optometry offers the full range of Zeiss lenses, as well as Essilor® AVA lenses that when combined with the Visioffice X facial scanner, allows us to produce a prescription up to 25x more accurate than standard high street opticians (0.01 increments compared to the 0.25 standard).
Upon receiving your frames, our team will always be here should you wish to drop by our shop for a complimentary refill of lens cleaner, have your frames adjusted or are in need of on-going support with your eye health.
