Contact Lenses are a wonder of modern science designed to give you the freedom from wearing glasses.  There are many different types of contact lenses available on the market but we are here to help and advise you.  At an initial fitting appointment we will ask you a few simple questions and examine your eyes to check their health and suitability for contact lenses.  The most appropriate trial lenses for your needs and  requirements can then be selected for a trial period.  Many patients are very nervous at the prospect of wearing contact lenses for the first time.  It is our priority to take the time needed to make this experience as reassuring and pleasant as possible.

Aftercare

Modern contact lenses are generally very safe but after initial fitting it is important to ensure you have regular check ups to ensure you lenses continue to fit well and your eyes stay healthy.  We have various monthly payment plans available to spread the cost of caring for your eyes and replacing your contact lenses and solutions as required.  These plans also entitle you to discount on glasses and sunglasses.

Children and Contact Lenses

There are many myths and misconceptions about fitting youngsters with contact lenses.  If the child is motivated and suitable for contact lens wear there is no reason why they cannot enjoy the freedom from wearing glasses.  Several recent studies support the notion that it is a positive thing to fit a youngster with contact lenses and that the effects on confidence and self esteem are significant.
